Dungeness National Nature Reserve awaits you nearby. This gigantic shingle landscape is a sanctuary to many rare plants and wildfowl. Dungeness is a unique, desolate landscape with wooden houses, power stations and lighthouses. Yet it possesses a rich and diverse wildlife within the National Nature Reserve in one of the largest shingle landscapes in the world.

There’s nothing quite like a ride on The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway - so it’s little wonder that this is one of Kent's top tourist attractions! A journey on one of the small trains is a unique experience combining years of steam railway heritage with some of Kent's most picturesque countryside. The natural starting place for a journey on the RH&DR is at its station in the historic, pretty town of Hythe. It’s one of six along the track, which stretches 13.5 miles across the picturesque Romney Marsh to Dungeness.

Head further along the coast, and you'll discover stunning Camber Sands, a dreamy 7-mile long beach. Camber is a rare gem on the Sussex coast. While most beaches in the region are lined with pebbles and shingle, Camber offers over three miles of soft, golden sand. Whether you are looking for a family beach day, a kitesurfing adventure, a peaceful walk, or a base to explore the charming town of Rye, Camber, Sands delivers.

After a trip to the stunning beach at Camber, you can't go wrong with a visit to the beautifully historic and scenic town of Rye just two miles from the sea and historically involved with smuggling, Rye was once an island! It's cobbled streets, historical buildings and lovely independent shops making it easy to spend several hours wandering the streets taking time to sit and eat lunch in one of it's many quaint Cafe's.

Just a little further along the coast you'll find the Historic Harbour of Hastings wander the preserved Old Town’s winding streets and tiny twittens, crammed with Tudor houses and flower-bedecked cottages, and inhale the hard-working fishing quarter with its towering net huts and ramshackle huts on the beach. On the seafront you'll find your favourite seaside amusements, including Flamingo Amusements and Playland as well as Hastings Aquarium and Hastings Miniature Adventure Golf Complex with three golf courses that also has great fish and chips, Italian ice cream, a café and is the home to the World Crazy Golf Championships every July!

If you are visiting with family then Dymchurch is a must with its flat sandy beach, donkey rides and all the nostalgia of a British seaside town,.. fish and chips, candy floss and sticks of rock! And if you are a thrill seeker then a visit to Dymchurch Amusements is a great family fun day out!

A truly incredible safari experience awaits you at Port Lympne Reserve From a safari ride to some Kentish woodland walks, there are 600 acres of Port Lympne to keep you entertained throughout your day. As well as all the amazing animals, you'll find play parks, our BIG attraction Dinosaur Valley, the Port Lympne Hotel gardens and much more.. just make sure you have your walking boots on! 

Located in Lydd, Kent, Lydd Kart Circuit is a massive, outdoor racing venue that caters equally to serious motorsport professionals and adrenaline-hungry members of the public. Built around a phenomenal 1,040-metre MSA-licensed circuit, it is widely recognised as one of the fastest go-karting tracks in the country.

If you are looking for a relaxing round of golf then you really have come to the right place.. with 3 courses within 10 Miles of Seashells you will be spoiled for choice, Littlestone Golf Club is just a short drive away with 2 courses available, Lydd Golf Club is also just a short distance and a unique golf experience, having beautiful lakes on 11 of the 18 holes.  Or visit the sweeping majestic fairways at Rye Golf Club Its two courses, the Old and Jubilee, are beautiful examples of traditional links, on the south coast of England.

Demetrios  fantastic local gem that offers a welcoming atmosphere. Family run with home-cooked Greek and English cuisine,  Child-friendly environment and excellent wheelchair accessibility, Demetrio's is a great choice for a lovely dining experience.

Cardamom  CARDAMOM is an Authentic Indian Cuisine in New Romney, serving a range of Authentic & Imaginative traditional and fusion dishes, we fully recommend for Dine in and their Takeaway service. 

Santa Fe New Mexican & Ecuadorean Cuisine  a small family run restaurant in the heart of New Romney with excellent reviews Produce sourced local produce where possible, mixed with authentic imported Mexican flavours.  Vegetarians and Vegans also catered for with weekly specials.

Reynolds Ice Cream We 100% recommend you visit Reynolds's Ice Cream Van which is normally situated on the playground on the seafront in Littlestone near the Spar every weekend. The queue can be LONG, but it is worth it!
